So the other day I picked up one of these:   And right away started using it like this instead of putting it off to the right like I would a mouse. Makes sense right? It works great like this, in fact I started scheming a case to put and keep this set-up as so. I watched the clips and being that this is a pre-production, 85% done, compressed to 720p, then again by vimeo and I believe the ISO can’t be go beyond 400 in this version… I say, not bad. The colors are very Panasonic and not at all Canon. Really organic, natural where as I’ve always found Canon images (XL1 and DSLR) to me, to be way too saturated. But you can dial that down...

Lenmar equivalent to Canon LP-E6 edit: discovered that the maH rating is lower for the Lenmar version. 1600mAh vs 1800mAh. I think the extra 200 mAh’s (whatever that means) is worth the extra $20. Link to B&H Canon batt for 7D
